The project will result in the implementation of a key process innovation and a product innovation, which will comprise the project results:
- durability-enhancing hybrid surface treatment technology for moulds used in die casting processes,
- slim hydraulic holders made in additive technology for vibration damping during cavity machining,
- carbide cutters with specially modified and adapted geometry and cutters with CBN blades for machining of hardened moulds,
- micro-additivated aluminium alloy or aluminium alloy based composite with improved mechanical properties,
- technology for producing high-strength cores for die-casting of parts with complex shapes.
